The Return of Desert Girl

A week ago today, I had the following exchange via text message with my friend Jen, a.k.a Desert Girl, formerly of Las Vegas and Seattle, international traveler, compulsive hiker and kayaker, she of the red hair and legs that go on forever:

Jen: Wanna have dinner Monday?

Me:  Abso-f'ing-lutely!  Int'viewing?

Jen: Yup.

Me: Buenos Aires Grill, 5:30?

Jen: Hell, yeah!

In other good news: as of Friday (payday), after about a year of trying, I am officially OUT OF DEBT!

Serenifly

I know a lot of people on my flist got into Firefly a long time ago, and have been eagerly anticipating the premiere of Serenity for eons.  My situation is a little different: I actually saw the entire Firefly series (thanks, verbicide!) and the movie during the past three weeks.
