I was raised as a Protestant, where we're not allowed to play games, use cards, or dance, or drink.

All I understand is feeling left out.

Well, look at the bright side: to paraphrase my man Max Weber, Protestants' allergy to having fun makes them very efficient capitalists & bureaucrats. Just remember not to enjoy yourself too much when you land that corner office ... ;)
