"Liberal Anger" Explodes Into Artwork!

Last week, Police in Prosser, WA were called in to question a 15-year-old high school student about the student's anti-Bush artwork. The cops called in the secret service.

The cops decided not to press charges against the patriotically incorrect student, but the Secret Service questioned him & the high school still plans to take disciplinary action ...

This is a little less surprising when they mention the head of Bush on a pike.

Of course, it's still inexcusable in context of political artwork that presumably is easy to differentiate from any intent or plan to do physical harm.

It also reminds me of the post-Columbine "attack anyone different" trend.

This post is very in line with what I'd like (the analysis of Romney is less so - that's more of an editorial, and more appropriate to go in comments). If you can compile three or four links into one post, that would be even better.

Agreed. If I were this kid's teacher or principal, I'm sure that I'd be concerned about the violent imagery. I might contact the parents, & maybe involve the school shrink. Nor would I think twice about calling the cops if the images appeared to threaten someone the student actually knew or could come in contact with. But that's clearly not the case, here.
