I know a lot of people on my flist got into Firefly a long time ago, and have been eagerly anticipating the premiere of Serenity for eons.  My situation is a little different: I actually saw the entire Firefly series (thanks, verbicide!) and the movie during the past three weeks.

My favorite character?  Zoe.  Woman of my dreams, in fact ...

Also, did anyone else hear Wash say "I am a leaf on the wind"  the second time and say to themselves: "Dude, foreshadowing!  He's a dead man!"

River: Now that they're letting her fly the damned ship, the writers are going to have to stop milking this "strange crazy girl" thing, aren't they?  No worries, though: they can still work the "I can kill you with my brain!" angle.  (Think friendly thoughts,  Jayne ...)
