"It's 2006.  Do you know where your constitution is?

"Since 9/11, the President and his rubber-stamp Congress have rammed through laws that radically restrict your rights.  They can listen in on your phone calls without a warrant.  They can search your home without telling you.  They can arrest you, on nothing more than some bureaucrat’s say-so.  They can hold you in a secret prison.  They can try you in front of a special court with secret evidence.  They can torture you, and no one will ever know.  They can make you disappear.

"They say that these new laws are just for use against terrorists.  But if government officials decide to abuse their power, who’s going to stop them?

"The constitution can't protect you--not if the government and the courts fail to enforce it, not if all these abuses take place in secret.

"So what can you do?  Take away the president's rubber stamp: Throw out the GOP Congress.  While you still can."
