Capitol Hill Shootings

Early yesterday morning, some guy in his twenties shot up a party in my neighborhood, maybe a mile from my apartment and just a few blocks away from where a couple I know live. Seven people were killed, including the assailant (who ate his shotgun after police showed up).

In an apparently related story, police raided a North Seattle home Saturday night, where they arrested someone believed to be the shooter's brother, and confiscated a lot of weapons and ammo.

It's too early to say what larger significance, if any, this incident might have, but it's pretty chilling to find that it happened Right Here.
