I am happy to report that Thursday's Climb for a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis appears to have raised in the neighborhood of $124,000, representing a respectable gain on last year's $95,000.

My company's fundraising team (and our friends and familes) accounted for a very, very modest part of that total, but I must express my thanks to everyone who contributed whether in our team's name or to the event, generally. And if you didn't have the chance in the holiday rush, there is still time--just follow the above link! A gift of any amount would of course be appreciated. :)

I've been meaning to go to Central Cinema ever since the place opened, a couple of years ago. It's kind of pathetic that I've never ventured out that way, before, as it turns out to be about a 30-minute walk or 5-minute bus ride from where I live.

Anyway, I'm really glad that we went--now that I know how to get to Central Cinema, I'm sure that I'll be back. And I'm sure that I'll be watching Kane again in a year or so to see how it strikes me, by then.
