Morning Email from London
Jul. 7th, 2005 09:49 amMy colleagues and I received the following email from our London office, this morning:
Dear all - just to let you know that we are all fine. Thanks for the emails asking if we are OK. We did hear a bomb go off on a bus just up the road. K**** was stuck on a tube for 2 hours and several others were disrupted. We are all OK, although of course everyone is worried. All transport- tubes, buses have been stopped and train stations are closed.
Thanks for your concern,
best wishes

I wrote back that I was glad that everyone over there was OK. I didn't say how chilling it was to learn that one of the explosions happened just "up the road."
Our thoughts are with our friends over there, but most especially with those who were directly affected by these horrific attacks.
