Climb for a Cure, 2006
Nov. 27th, 2006 02:53 pmChronic procrastinator that I am, I always seem to make these posts at the last minute:
This year, I'm once again competing in the Washington State Stair Climb for Cystic Fybrosis. (This is the 18th Annual such competition, and my second.) For those who may be unfamiliar with this kind of event, it's essentially a publicity stunt for charity. The focus of the Climb for a Cure, is to raise money to cure cystic fybrosis (C.F.), a life-threatening genetic disease affecting 30,000 people in the United States. The upcoming Stair Climb will take place on Thursday, December 7th.
By signing up as a Stair Climb sponsor (at whatever level you can afford), you can contribute to a cure for C.F.--and, much, much less importantly, support my company's "team," QuorumQuest!
If you'd like to contribute or participate, please see my Stair Climb website for more information.
Thanks!
