TRIPLE-A (10:19AM 07/16/07): Yes that time is upon us again. Time for MJ to get drunk and take out her happiness on each of us at Happy Hour!
When: Friday July 20th (her actual REAL Birthday), 4pm - Whenever she gets us kicked out
Where: McPub on Lake Union
Why: Duh
NIQUIL (11:31AM 07/16/07): Is there a guarantee that the guest of honor will actually show up for this celebration? She has a tendency to space ...
TRIPLE-A (11:45AM 07/16/07): HEHEHEHE No--but we will drink in her absence anyway.
SAAVEDRA77 (12:06PM 07/16/07): Also, maybe one of us should make sure she has a ride, this time ... (Looks significantly at people with cars ...)
TRIPLE-A (01:22PM 07/16/07): Ok, let's make it interesting--how will MJ flake out of her own Happy Hour?

MJ (10:42AM 07/20/07): I'll see you all at McPub at 4:00. We will move the shindigers around 5ish to BrazilianPlace Downtown, where my bestest Aunt will take dear care of us with well drinks and tapas.
TRIPLE-A (11:15AM 07/20/07): Hey, that's kind of a lot of moving around ... let's stick to one spot, birthday girl. You choose but hurry up!!!!
SAAVEDRA77 (12:35PM 07/20/07): Um, yah: My plan's to take the bus over to McPub's at 4:00, which would get me there 'round 4:30. But if we're going to BrazilianPlace at 5:00, maybe I should just meet ya there? It's a lot closer to where I am, anyway. Let us know what you're plannin', 'k?
TRIPLE-A (12:48PM 07/20/07): Yeah I think we need to make the executive decision to meet at BrazilianPlace around 4:00. Who's in?

BS (02:07PM 07/20/07): Of course we're going to change our minds again:) BrazilianPlace's happy hour doesn't start until 5:00, so no sense in going there before. The final game plan is to meet at SeafoodPlace at 4:00pm, then head over to BrazilianPlace around 6-ish.

Naturally, the dozen or so people on this email list ended up at three different pubs between 04:00 and 06:00PM, only to later convene at the Brazilian place. 'Cuz we are so AWESOME.
(We actually had a great time, once we were finally all got together: MJ's tia made us some fantastic food and drinks, we toasted the birthday girl, and celebrated the fact that almost none of us worked in that dreary little office in Belltown, anymore.)
