Young Frankenstein's a blast--I went with a friend about a week ago. Megan Mullaly is just perfect in Madeleine Kahn's former role--maybe even better than the original.

Uh, you're talking to the guy who enjoys staying home to read the latest theory oriented book (right now, I just got into Homi Baba and am sorry I wrote him off when I first took the undergrad theory course. I am beside myself with glee too, believe me.)

I was just thinking that if you were around, you could come watch 'Memories of Underdevelopment' with me and that you appear to be the sort of person that would jump at the chance to watch the Latin-American film retrospective at LACMA. I don't know too many people that have our nerdy interests.

Your documentary sounds cool, and if I was in Seattle, I'd be presumptous enough to invite myself over:-)
